From determining the updated information architecture, to exploring ways design and layout could better promote their global connections, panbuilt helped this organization cut through the existing clutter and develop a site that’s organized specifically for it’s unique set of users. University of Washington’s AIMS Center is an integral part of the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and is a leading center of research, training, and innovation in integrated mental health programs.

Expedia Visual Re-design

Worked in collaboration with Frog Design to create a new Design Language System for Expedia. The goal for this project was to capture the essence of the Expedia brand and extend it to the online space. Produced a toolkit that reflects the vision of Expedia and provides creative direction for implementation of future product user interfaces.

As senior designer, worked closely with Creative Director and designers to explore main steps of design process. These include: assessment, articulation, exploration, refinement, and extension.

From consumer-focused products like XBox 360 and Zune to enterprise items such as SQL Server and Forefront – new and engaging marcom pieces were crafted for targeted audiences on an ever-changing Microsoft.com home page. Expedia Travel Protection Microsite

k-nected is a private online community built exclusively for existing and former professional athletes. They were in need of a new Identity as well as a new look and feel and minor UI updates for their website presence.

Identity
The k-nected team was looking for an Identity and brand style guide for a new, elite social and professional networking service for professional athletes. This Identity would reflect the exclusive and premium lifestyle of the k-nected clientele – professional athletes.

Homepage
The team wanted a clean, modern, and premium look and feel. The focus for the homepage and underlying pages was to create a simple, engaging, secure, and exclusive environment that educates, informs, and provides tools for players to develop connections.

Expedia contracted panbuilt to design and create several mood boards reflecting the Expedia brand across various well-known brand types. In addition, two final mood boards were created to reflect an innovative style pushing the Expedia brand forward.

Walt Disney World: Spaceship Earth

panbuilt worked with the Walt Disney Imagineering team to create an interactive experience for the Spaceship Earth ride. During the ride, guests have their photos taken and are presented with a personalized ride experience. After exiting the main ride, panbuilt designed a dynamic animated globe featuring recent ride photos. panbuilt also created the Flash-based GUI for the post-show kiosks, where guests can send a personalized video of themselves home. As an added bonus, those who send their videos home get their photo displayed on large projection screens inside Spaceship Earth. Watch a video about the new Spaceship Earth.
